Black History Month edition is redesigned in the spirit of Sankofa.

Sankofa is a word in the Akan language of Ghana that translates to "go back and get it." It symbolizes the importance of learning from the past in order to move forward. The Sankofa symbol, often depicted as a bird with its head turned backward while carrying an egg on its back, represents the idea of looking back to retrieve and reclaim valuable lessons, wisdom, and experiences from history. It encourages individuals and communities to reflect on their roots, heritage, and cultural traditions as a means of gaining insight and understanding for navigating the present and shaping the future.
